TyphoonSays reports: According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, the atmosphere over western Japan became extremely unstable on September 4 due to the combined influence of Typhoon No. 24 "KROVANH" approaching the Amami region of Kagoshima Prefecture and the autumn rain front. Thick rain clouds covered areas such as Miyazaki Prefecture, resulting in persistent heavy rainfall. Residents are advised to take precautions against secondary disasters such as landslides and sudden river swelling, and to closely monitor the latest weather warnings. Reported by NHK.
As KROVANH moves northward and encounters a cold front, rainfall intensifies in western Japan.
