Typhoon CHAMPI Moves Away as Cold Air Brings Strong Winds and a Temperature Drop to Jiangsu
TyphoonSays says this year's 30th typhoon, CHAMPI, is gradually moving away, but a new round of cold air is arriving. The Jiangsu Meteorological Observatory forecasts that winds across the province will increase significantly from the night of the 26th to the 27th, with gusts of 7 to 8 on the Beaufort scale possible over sea areas. As a result, temperatures will drop markedly, with minimum temperatures in the Huaibei area falling to 7–9°C on the morning of the 28th. Meteorological authorities advise the public to take precautions against strong winds, keep warm, and guard against the adverse effects of the strong winds and sharp temperature drop.
