After November 11, the track made a notable turn. Near 131.6°E, the system gradually shifted from moving due west to moving northwest, accompanied by a slow northward increase in latitude. From November 12 to 18, the typhoon continued moving northwest, eventually reaching the northern South China Sea. Notably, despite tracking deep into the South China Sea, the typhoon made no landfall throughout its lifetime and dissipated near 21.1°N, 108°E at 14:00 on November 18. The overall track displayed a typical parabolic pattern, moving first west and then northwest, and remained at low latitudes for a long time, allowing it to accumulate energy efficiently.
