"Zitan" is currently located at 19.5°N, 108°E, with a central pressure of 990 hPa and maximum sustained winds of 23 m/s, classified as a tropical storm. It is moving slowly east-northeast at 6 km/h. Due to its sluggish movement and lingering in the Beibu Gulf, it is expected to reach near 22.8°N, 109.98°E by the morning of August 27 and weaken into a tropical depression. Its prolonged stagnation has brought continuous wind and rain impacts to coastal areas such as Guangxi and Hainan.
