Tropical Cyclone Babette
● Data reliability: Generally reliable——Aircraft entered typhoons for in situ measurements, but satellites were not yet widespread: tracks are generally accurate, while intensities may be biased, with weaker cyclones potentially going unrecorded from 1950 until the advent of satellite coverage.
Babette at 1977-12-03 08:00:00 (BeijingTime) 在South Indian Ocean首次被记录, peak intensity 为中等Tropical Storm, max wind 约 20.1 m/s (1 分钟平均) , minimum central pressure 991 hPa, at 1977-12-10 14:00:00前后结束, total 记录 30 track points (6 h一个) .
