Typhoon Danas (202504)'s life history began at Tropical Depression at 08:00 on July 4, 2025, initial position at late 19.2°N, 119.6°. In the early formed, the system showed a clear NW toward MovingTrend, from the Philippines to E waters gradually approaching the Taiwan Strait S section. Observation data showed that its pathined a stable NW direction advance between July 5 and July 6, with latitude rising rapidly from 20.1°N to 22.4°N, and the length also synchronized with W shift.
The typhoon's track turning point occurred after landfall in Taiwan. After making its first landfall on the coastal area of Jiayi County, Taiwan at 00:00 on July 7, the system crossed Taiwan Island and entered the Taiwan Strait. Subsequently, its path shifted significantly from northwestward to northward and even northeastward, heading directly toward the Zhejiang coast. At 21:25 and 23:45 on July 8, Danas made its second and third landfalls along the coasts of Dongtou District and Ruian City in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, respectively. After completing the landfall process along the Zhejiang coast, the typhoon moved deep inland, turned southwestward in a looping motion, and weakened. It finally weakened into a tropical depression near western Fujian at 20:00 on July 9 and was removed from the numbering list. The overall track exhibited a complex pattern of northwestward movement, northward turn, landfall, and southwestward loop.
