Official forecasts indicate that it will weaken into a tropical depression on the 27th. Its main impacts will be concentrated in parts of Guangdong, Guangxi, and Hainan.
Typhoon No. 18, SAUDEL
Located over the northwestern Pacific (17.7°N, 147.5°E), it has a central pressure of 970 hPa and maximum sustained winds of 35 m/s, placing it at typhoon strength. It is currently moving northwest at 20 km/h. Official forecasts show that it will strengthen into a severe tropical storm on the 27th and could potentially reach super typhoon strength thereafter. It remains far from China and currently poses no direct impact.

Today, public and media attention has focused primarily on the substantial impact of Typhoon No. 19 on South China. As the typhoon approaches, multiple locations in Guangxi and Guangdong have densely issued typhoon warning signals.
