At present, the center of No. 18 typhoon "SAUDEL" is located at 8.4°N, 153.8°E, with a central pressure of 998 hPa and maximum sustained winds of 18 m/s, making it a tropical storm. It is moving north-northwest at 23 km/h. According to the latest official track forecast, SAUDEL will reach approximately 22.5°N, 138.2°E at 14:00 on August 24, when it is expected to strengthen into a super typhoon. It is forecast to have no direct impact on China's waters over the next five days.
